On the other hand, a lake is a water form of relatively still water that is contained in a basin, also surrounded by land, thus, serves to feed or drain the lake. However, why is it that the Dead Sea can’t be considered a sea at all despite the fact that its name says it.
This is due to the very reason that the Dead Sea doesn’t cater any living form. So, if you look at it in a closer viewpoint, the Dead Sea is more closely related to a lake than a sea.
Most things that people don’t know about the Dead Sea relates to its history. The Dead Sea is already around three (3) million years old and it was known to be the “Stinky Sea” way back.
